TRACKING: Showers and Thunderstorms

The KWWL viewing area will remain in a period of active weather as we head into the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms from this afternoon have put out a lot of boundaries, plus we have a front in the region that will provide more instability.

Most These storms may be able to produce heavy rainfall. Some areas could see Flash Flooding, so a Flash Flood Watch has been posted through Thursday morning for the western and northern counties of the viewing area.

Most of the storms will stay below severe levels, but we may have a few that cause strong winds and some hail.

Dewpoints will stay on the humid side, so it will feel more like Summer through Saturday.

Wind will not be too much of a problem outside of any storms that develop. Most will stay light and that could lead to areas of fog each night and early morning.

We keep a chance of showers and storms into the weekend with the humidity dropping on Sunday.

Stay with KWWL and KWWL.com for updates.
