There is chance of showers/storms tonight. Locally heavy rain is possible with the storms. It remains warm and humid with lows dropping into the upper 60s for most locations.

There is a chance of showers/storms again Thursday. A few could be during the morning hours. The best chance of storms will be during the afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could be severe.

Here is a look at the latest timing on the line of storms forecast to move through eastern Iowa.

Cooler and less humid air move late Thursday night and Friday will be more comfortable. Saturday turns out to be a nice day as well with temperatures warming to near 80. A few showers/storms are possible Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Most of Sunday will be dry, but it will be warm and humid.

Friday Evening: Clouds will clear and wind will diminish.

Saturday: Hawkeyes are in Ames to take on the Cyclones. There is a slight chance of shower/storm otherwise great weather. The Panthers are off this week.
