TRACKING: A much more refreshing forecast

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The cold front has swept through and the storms have passed giving us a much needed break from the heat. Winds behind this front have shifted from the northerly direction which is where they will stay through today and the next few days.

This will set up a much more comfortable end to the weekend with high temperatures expected to be in the upper 70’s north to the lower 80’s south. Many will stay dry with partly sunny skies but a few lingering showers or storms will be possible south of highway 20. These storms should remain relatively weak.

Humidity will drop throughout today and into Monday which will make being outside bearable.

Open the windows tonight as lows fall to the lower 60’s and upper 50’s.

You may be able to keep them open on Monday with highs in the middle to upper 70’s. We will have partly cloudy skies to start the workweek.

Even Tuesday will stay very nice with highs around 80 degrees and mostly sunny skies thanks to high pressure dominating the area!

It’ll be a slow warm up throughout the workweek with highs making their way to the middle 80’s for Friday. Skies remain mostly sunny or partly cloudy through then with a chance for storms on Friday. Things should dry out Saturday with highs remaining in the middle 80’s and the return of humidity.
