A few thunderstorms may track through the KWWL viewing area tonight.
Any that do will have potentially heavy rainfall and could lead to flash flooding. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is posted for portions of the viewing area through 7 am Thursday. Some areas could see 1 to 3″ of rain in a short period of time. NEVER drive through flooded roadways. The road may no longer be there. Turn around, don’t drown!
Winds will be around 10 to 15 mph and will keep bringing in more moisture and moving hot, humid air around.
And it will be very humid with dewpoints in the mid 70s for the next few days.
Heat warnings and advisories are posted across the region for the dangerous heat through Saturday.
Heat indices will be 100 to 115 for the next three days with a break starting Sunday after a cold front tracks through.
That cold front will set off more storms with potentially heavy rainfall. Those storms may begin on Saturday.
Stay tuned to KWWL and KWWL.com for updates.
