We are heating up across the KWWL viewing area. Highs will be in the mid 80s to around 90 this afternoon.
It will become more humid today and we will stay humid through the weekend.
Winds will be relatively light but from the south and keep pumping in that moisture.
A few thunderstorms may track through as a front stalls over our northern counties tonight.
More storms are possible Saturday afternoon/evening. Placement and timing may change depending on if the front gets shoved to the south and if it gets warm enough to just set off storms.
More heat and humidity build in through the weekend and into next week. We may have a few storms pop up just from the heat of the day in the afternoon and evening, similar to last week.
Tropical Storm Barry may affect our weather pattern by the middle of next week. The track it takes as it dies out over land may bring us more rainfall with some showers/storms expected on Wednesday… or it may keep whatever is over us on Wednesday/Thursday over us for an extra day or two as the Low does its thing.
You can keep track of Barry (and other tropical systems) by going to the National Hurricane Center… click here.
