TRACKING: Storm chances into the holiday weekend

 The rest the night is going to be mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the 40s and 50s.

The wind remains light overnight and into Thursday morning. During the day the wind shifts to the northwest at 10-15 mph.

Thursday is a pleasant day with more sunshine and highs in the 70s again. Thursday evening is dry with clouds increasing. There is a chance of showers/storms late Thursday night into Friday morning.

The showers/storms end early Friday. The rest of the morning and afternoon is dry and breezy. There is a potential for more showers/storms to develop late in the afternoon or early evening Friday. At this point the threat for severe weather will be across our southern counties.

The chance for showers/storms continues into the holiday weekend with the best chance of rain on Monday.
