Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

It’s going to be mostly cloudy, breezy and cool today with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. The wind will be breezy out of the east 10-20 mph, which will keep temperatures from warming up very much today.

The better chance of thunderstorms will be this evening into tonight, especially in southern Iowa. Locally heavy rain and lightning will be the main threat. The severe weather threat stays to our south and east.

Flash Flood Watch is in effect for portion so of the viewing area until Wednesday afternoon.

A few showers will linger into Wednesday, otherwise it will be mainly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

There’s a better chance of showers as we head into Thursday.

Rainfall totals between now and Thursday will be in the half inch to one inch range, with up to two inches possible in southern Iowa.

Friday and Saturday will be dry with highs in the middle 60s to near 70°. The next chance of rain tracks in Sunday and Monday.
