TRACKING: Warmer temperatures ahead

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Several rivers are experiencing minor, moderate or major flooding.  We’re also keeping a close eye on ice jam potential.  If you ever come across a flooded roadway… turn around, don’t drown!  Click here for the latest river stages and forecast crests.

Tonight we will have a mostly cloudy to partly cloudy sky with temperatures in the 20s.  A weak disturbance may produce a few sprinkles or flurries, but nothing significant.  Watch for patchy areas of fog by morning.

Monday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, with high temperatures in the upper 30s north, to middle 40s south.

Tuesday will be partly to mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s.  There is a slight chance for light rain from Cedar Rapids and areas to the south.  However, the bulk of the system will track to our south.

We will have moderating temperatures as we head into the rest of the week, as highs climb into the 50s.  There’s a slight chance of rain this weekend.
