Snow will begin to track into the KWWL viewing area tonight and continue through Saturday.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is posted for areas along and south of Highway 30 tonight through Saturday afternoon.
Up to 4″ of snow will fall in the Advisory area with the heaviest expected along and south of Interstate 80.
Snow will begin to track in this evening with dry air keeping the snow from getting into our northern counties. The far north may see just a few flurries. Most of the snow will be light, but visibilities could be reduced as the snow is falling.
Winds will not be a major issue but may become gusty at times.
Temperatures will stay at or above freezing most days with lows in the 20s. Any snow that accumulates will melt and compact fairly quickly, but will refreeze at night. Use caution when traveling.
Stay tuned to KWWL and KWWL.com for updates.
