Cold high pressure has settled into Iowa, keeping our weather quiet. A partly sunny to partly cloudy is expected throughout the day, with highs in the lower to middle 20s and a southwest wind 5-10 mph. Some of the clouds may produce flurries, but no impacts are expected. More sunshine is expected early on across southern Iowa.
Tonight, we will keep a partly to mostly cloudy sky, with temperatures in the teens. After a couple active past couple of weekends, we will remain dry this weekend. The sky will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy, with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s. If you have to put up those outdoor decorations, this weekend may be the time to do it!
Temperatures will gradually warm into the middle 30s by Tuesday of next week, with dry conditions. We are tracking a storm system that could potential bring a little rain and snow Wednesday.
