We have a quiet week ahead, but cold . Clouds linger tonight and Tuesday with a few flurries from time to time. Temperatures early Tuesday morning settle into the upper teens and low 20s.

The wind is light tonight and Tuesday.

Normal highs this time of year are in the mid 30s. We will remain below that through early next week. Highs Tuesday are in the 20s.

Temperatures are a little warmer Wednesday, low 30s, with a southwest breeze. A cold front moves southeast through Iowa Wednesday night. Thursday has mostly cloudy sky and colder. High are back in the 20s and remain in the 20s through the weekend.

Friday through Sunday is mostly sunny with a light breeze.

The 8-14 day outlook, for December 11-17, is showing a pretty good chance of above normal temperatures. Normal high for that time of year is in the low 30s. There is a low chance of above normal precipitation.
