We will have a mostly cloudy to partly cloudy sky this afternoon. It is going to be windy at times, with winds picking up out of the west 15-25+ mph, with gusts up to 35 or 40 mph at times. Temperatures will only warm a few degrees or hold steady throughout the day.
If you plan to head out to the polls this evening, it will still be a bit breezy.
Tonight’s low temperatures will be in the upper 20s with a west wind 10-15 mph. It’s breezy once again tomorrow with NW winds 10-20 mph, and high temperatures in the 30s. We will have a partly cloudy sky. Cold temperatures will continue through the weekend, feeling more like December.
We have a quick moving system that brings southern Iowa a chance of light snow Thursday night, with another clipper system moving through Friday, providing another chance of snow across eastern Iowa. We will keep you updated.
