A line of storms was moving southeast Monday evening with the main threat to be damaging winds. The strongest storms with this line were in southern Minnesota earlier in the evening. As the line crossed south into Iowa they began to slowly weaken. The threat for damaging wind continued through the early evening. As of this post the was only one report of damage from this line. It was in Allamakee County…southwest of Waukon.
Emergency Manager reports a barn was destroyed. Tin was thrown into power lines and knocked power out.
