CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) — Logan Wolf is turning heads in the UNI-Dome. One of those belongs to UNI head football Coach Mark Farley.

Wolf is looking to crack his way on to UNI’s depth chart in his first season with the Panthers. The former Cedar Falls all-state receiver racked up 1,221 yards and 22 touchdowns his senior year in high school.

“He’s a very talented, quiet force. He’s a good athlete and a great person,” says Farley.

Wolf was also an all-state forward on Cedar Falls’ back-to-back championship basketball teams, and plans on playing both football and basketball for UNI. After getting a look at his practice habits, Farley expects him to excel in both.

“People say, ‘can he do both?’ I would say absolutely now that I’ve been around him for six months,” adds Farley.

Wolf’s role in his first season has yet to be determined. The Panthers open their 2019 campaign at Iowa State on August 31.
