D-NH upset by Roland-Story in district final

DIKE (KWWL) — Roland-Story rallied past Dike-New Hartford in the third inning and never looked back as the Norsman upset the third ranked Wolverines 7-5 to win a class 2A district title.

D-NH opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning on a two-run blast off the bat of Reece Beuter. Roland-Story came back with a pair of runs to tie the game 2-2 in the top of the second.

After falling behind 3-2 in the bottom of the inning, the Norseman rallied with three in the top of the third. Jayden McDonald capped the inning with a run scoring single in to shallow left for a 5-3 lead they never relinquished.
