NASHVILLE (KWWL) — Parker Hesse will get his shot. The former Iowa defensive end signed a free agent deal with the Tennessee Titans this week as he’ll look to compete for a spot on the regular season roster.
The signing comes with a switch, however, as the Titans plan to look at Hesse at tight end or in a role as a blocking fullback. It marks the first time he’ll play on the offensive side of the ball since his time at quarterback for Waukon High School.
Tennessee worked out Hesse at the tight end position during Iowa’s pro day earlier this spring.
