Dike-New Hartford hammers Panorama to return to state

JOHNSTON (KWWL) — Dike-New Hartford put on a defensive clinic on Monday night as the seventh ranked Wolverines shut down number six Panorama 50 to 15 to make a return trip to the class 2A girls’ state basketball tournament.

Defensively, the Wolverines allowed just four Panorama field goals in the entire contest.

Katie Knock led the DNH offense with 16 points. Ellie Foster added 13 in the win.

Dike-New Hartford opens the state tournament a week from Tuesday in Des Moines against defending champion Cascade.
