Clarksville girls earn first trip to state

DENVER (KWWL) — Clarksville got it done. The Indians topped North Butler 55 to 20 to advance to the class 1A girls’ state basketball tournament for the first time in school history.

Kori Wedeking led a dominant Clarksville attack with 18 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Mallory Hoodjer added 9 in the state clinching victory.

Fourth seeded Clarksville will face fifth seeded Bellevue Marquette a week from Wednesday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
