Iowa Men’s Basketball beats Northwestern 73-63

EVANSTON, Illinois(KWWL)—The Iowa Hawkeyes snapped an 8 game Big 10 road losing streak dating back to last year with a 73-63 win at Northwestern.

The Hawks playing without starting scorer Tyler Cook got a big boost from freshman Joe Wieskamp.

The freshman from Muscatine led all scorers with 19 points tonight. Luka Garza scored 16 points off the bench, Isaiah Moss added 12 points and Nicholas Baer grabbed a game high 10 rebounds to go along with 9 points.

Iowa improves to 2-3 in the Big Ten and 13-3 overall.
