Through the years the Smiths have also been to many Hawkeye Bowl games with the Outback Bowl has always been Bob Smith’s favorite.

BOB SMITH/HAWKEYE FAN   “This is the best Bowl bar none even the Rose Bowl… you  can’t beat the atmosphere.”

RIGHT NOW BOB SMITH IS IN THE BATTLE OF HIS LIFE….

BOB SMITH/HAWKEYE FAN     “I have stage four lung cancer—you never know how many of these you have left…So I came with my son.  My doctor said most people with cancer are living to die instead of living to live. That struck a chord with me. You got to get out and enjoy yourself while you can you know.”

ZACH SMITH/IOWA FAN      “A lot my most cherished memories are going to Bowl games with my dad..we  wanted to do it again.”
