Cyclone wrestlers fall short against no. 6 Missouri

AMES (KWWL) — Senior day didn’t go exactly as Iowa State planned as the 11th ranked Cyclones fell to No. 6 Missouri 23-15. The loss marked the second straight for ISU who fell to in-state rival UNI on Thursday for the third straight season.

The Cyclones and Tigers split the meet 5-5, but Missouri got the better end picking up big bonus points. Mizzou earned a pair of pins at 141 and 174, plus a tech fall at 133 to make the difference.
