NASHVILLE (KWWL) — Iowa’s draft success struck again in the fourth round. Defensive end Anthony Nelson and defensive back Amani Hooker got the call to the NFL with Nelson going to Tampa Bay and Hooker to Tennessee.

Nelson, who left Iowa with a season of eligibility remaining, picked up nine and a half sacks during his junior campaign.  He leaves Iowa with 23 sacks and 31 tackles for loss in 39 games during his career with the Hawkeyes.

Hooker, also an early draft entrant, left Iowa after a season that saw him named the Big Ten’s Defensive Back of the Year. Hooker had four interceptions and 65 tackles playing at a safety/linebacker hybrid position this past season.
