EVANSTON, Ill (KWWL) — The fourth-ranked Iowa wrestlers took control early and never looked back as they defeated Northwestern 32-7 on Sunday afternoon. Iowa won eight of ten bouts to remain perfect in dual meets this season.

Second ranked 165-pounder Alex Marinelli rolled to a 12-4 major decision over Tyler Morland. The win improved Marinelli to 15-0 on the season as he’s won a career best 15 straight matches.

Cash Wilcke recorded Iowa’s only fall on the afternoon. His 1:20 pin against Brendan Devine was the fastest of his Hawkeye career.
