Highly touted running back commits to ISU

Iowa State’s Matt Campbell landed one of his most sought after recruits. Quincy, Illinois, running back Jirehl Brock committed to the Cyclones on Friday.

Brock, a consensus four star recruit listed as one of the top ten backs in the class of 2019, chose Iowa State over his other finalists Minnesota and Northwestern. The soon to be high school senior racked up numerous power five offers after a junior season that saw him rush for 1,588 yards and 23 touchdowns for Quincy High School.

Brock is Iowa State’s 17th commitment for the class of 2019.
