Iowa State women’s basketball team placed five student-athletes on the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 team. The Cyclones’ Meredith Burkhall, Adriana Camber, Bridget Carleton, Claire Ricketts and Nia Washington were named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team.
Ricketts is making her third appearance on the Academic All-Big 12 team as a hospitality management major who has appeared in 20 games this season, starting twice. In the Cyclones most-recent game, Ricketts grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds and a career-high six blocks to help ISU topple TCU on the road.
