Waterloo man involved in Buchanan County crash

BUCHANAN COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) – Two people were injured in a crash in Buchanan County Sunday afternoon.

The Iowa State Patrol said it happened around 4:30 p.m. along U.S. 187 at 170th Street.

Shane Brunson, 26, of Waterloo was driving south and crossed the center line.

Brunson hit a vehicle driven by Brian Mastin, 52, of Viroqua, Wisconsin.

Iowa State Patrol said Mastin and his passenger, Tammy Mastin, 52, were both injured but refused treatment.

Brunson has been cited for failure to yield half of the roadway.
