Three people injured in rural Delaware County crash

DELAWARE COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) – Three people are recovering after a crash Saturday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol said it happened around 9 a.m. along 160th Street.

A 26-year-old Dyersville driver was driving west on 160th street and lost control, crashing his truck into a bridge.

A 56-year-old Dyersville driver was headed east in a pickup and wasn’t able to stop in time before crashing into the side of the other truck.

Both drivers were taken to MercyOne Dubuque for treatment of injuries. A passenger in one of the trucks was taken to the hospital in Manchester.

The Iowa State Patrol has not released the names or genders of the people involved. The crash is under investigation.
