Waterloo Police find loaded gun during traffic stop

WATERLOO, Iowa. (KWWL) – Waterloo Police arrested a man after a gun was found on him during a traffic stop.

Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Randolph and W. 2nd St. Friday night.

During a search, officers found a loaded gun on Corey Crawley, 28.

Police say the gun was reported stolen back in 2017.

Crawley was charged with Possession of Firearm as Felon, Interference with Official Acts (Two Counts), Theft 4th, and Carrying Weapons.
