Flooded roads lead to several highway closures

Iowa Department of Transportation has closed off several highways in eastern Iowa due to flooded roadways.

US 52 between Luxemburg (Dubuque County) and Guttenberg (Clayton County) has been closed in both direction.  Follow detours.

IA 188 between Iowa 3 and County Road T64 in Clarksville is closed.

IA 13 from County Road D22 to County Road D13 is closed off in Manchester.  UPDATE: This stretch is now open (9:30 a.m. Friday 3/15)

IA 57 between County Road T25 and IA 15 near Parkersburg is closed due to water on the roadways.

IA 21 between IA 212 and County Road E66 near Belle Plaine is also closed.

Never drive around barriers set up to block roads.  If you come across a flooded roadway, “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”
