Darlington cleans up after flooding

DARLINGTON, Wisconsin (KWWL) – Across the Mississippi in the state of Wisconsin, several cities are dealing with severe flooding.

The Darlington Police Department said the city has experienced some of the worst flooding they have seen in recent years, but the water was finally beginning to go down Friday morning.

The Pecatonica River flooded much of the lower end of town, closing roads and inundating businesses with water.

The police mentioned in a social media post that cleanup efforts are underway Friday and Saturday and are asking anyone to help in the process who can.
