(KWWL) – With more snow in the forecast, the Iowa State Patrol is trying to get the message out loud and clear, and as often as possible, for drivers to slow down on the roads.

Trooper Jon Stickney took to Twitter Thursday with a photo of him pulling over a driver who was going 96 miles-per-hour in a 65 miles-per-hour zone, noting the road was “100 percent snow and ice.”

Authorities remind all drivers to slow down, take your time and leave for your destination earlier than originally planned.
