SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KWWL) — Wintry weather in Sioux City brought snow, strong winds, sub-zero temperatures and hazardous driving conditions.

Many schools in the area started late or canceled classes, but that didn’t stop the morning commute.

There were numerous accidents in the Sioux City metro area as drivers braved the snowy roadways.

One accident involved multiple cars, with one car ending up on its side and a truck in a ditch with a tree on top of it.

While police were kept busy responding to several mishaps, there were no reports of serious injuries.
