Former Dubuque man accused of sex abuse given deferred judgment

DUBUQUE, Iowa. (TELEGRAPH HERALD) – A former Dubuque man accused of sexually abusing an underage girl has taken a plea deal on a new charge.

According to our coverage partners at the Telegraph Herald, Noah Neyens was given a deferred judgment and two years of probation.

Neyens pleaded guilty to harboring a runaway.

Court documents say a girl younger than 15 contacted Dubuque Police back in May, saying Neyens sexually abused her at his home.

Neyens told police that he “cuddled” with the girl and gave her a massage, according to court documents. Police say DNA collected from the victim matched Neyens.
