Decorah police: registered sex offender trespassed in dorm bathrooms, showers

DECORAH, Iowa (KWWL) – A 33-year-old man is facing charges Thursday after police say they received reports of a man entering a Luther College dorm building and walking into occupied female bathrooms and showers.

Police in Decorah say Victor Hasvold is facing charges of Invasion of Privacy and Trespassing. He’s a registered sex offender in Iowa, and has also been charged with a Iowa Sex Offender Registry violation, according to officers.

Luther College Safety and Security says reports of the bathroom invasions occurred on Wednesday.
