Want to brighten the holidays for a local senior? Take part in ‘Operation: Merry & Bright’

GRUNDY CENTER, Iowa (KWWL) – Home Care Assistance of the Cedar Valley is asking for anyone who’d like to bring a smile to a senior’s face this holiday season to take part in their Operation: Merry and Bright program.

Taking place until December 14, the steps in making a huge difference in someone’s life during the season of giving is easy:

  1. Select an ornament and tag from one of the trees at College Square Mall or Natural Grind in Grundy Center.
  2. Purchase the item on the tag, leave it unwrapped, and put it in the box by the tree where you got the tag.

Those who take part can keep the ornament as a thank you for taking part in the program.

Call Home Care Assistance for more information at 319-260-2222.  And learn more about Home Care Assistance on their website.
