The Iowa State Cyclones are bound for San Antonio. The Alamo Bowl selected Iowa State as the Big 12’s representative in the December 28 game. ISU will face Washington State out of the Pac 12.

The selection comes on the heels of the Cyclones’ first eight win regular season since 2000. Matt Campbell’s led the team to 16 wins over the last two years, the best mark in school history.

Iowa State will be chasing two straight bowl victories for the first time. The Cyclones defeated 25th ranked Memphis in the 2017 Liberty Bowl.
