RNC responds to Sen. Warren’s visit to Iowa

IOWA (KWWL) — Massachusetts senior senator Elizabeth Warren made her first trip to the first-to-caucus state following her Saturday announcement she would officially run for president of the United States.

Sunday, the day Senator Warren made her first visit to Iowa, a spokesperson for the Republican National Committee released a statement ahead of her visit to Cedar Rapids.

“Fresh off her announcement for President, Elizabeth Warren is bringing her support of government-run healthcare, higher taxes, and the Green New Deal to Iowa. While she’s in town, Iowans should ask Warren how eliminating cow farts across the Hawkeye State will benefit Iowa’s cattle industry,” said Michael Joyce, RNC Communications Director for Indiana and Michigan.

Warren also made stops in Iowa City and Davenport as part of her Sunday trip.
