I am a Chicago-girl-turned-Hawkeye, and I am so excited to be back in Iowa reporting for KWWL.

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a double degree in Journalism and Mass Comms. and Sports Studies. It was here in Iowa where I fell in love with storytelling.

My time at the University of Iowa has provided me with a learning experience that has paved the way for a successful and exciting future in broadcasting.

For four years, I have worked for the campus television station, Daily Iowan TV, as an award-winning news and sports anchor/reporter. As a sports reporter intern at the Big Ten Network Student U, I have had experience in live sideline reporting, color analysis, and behind-the-scenes production for a variety of Iowa’s athletics.

I then went on to host a weekly 30-minute entertainment show for Hawkeye Network’s “Inside Iowa” and “Iowa Now Minute,” which discussed current events happening around campus.

In my free time, I can be found hanging out with family and friends and, of course, cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks. I enjoy being a “people person” and always love to meet new people. I do believe in fate and being back in the Hawkeye State to start my career is a dream come true. I can’t wait to start my journey here with all of you!
