Dubuque police caution drivers as cold temperatures affect traffic lights

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) — Dubuque Police warn drivers that some traffic lights in the area are functioning improperly due to cold temperatures.

According to a Dubuque Police Department Facebook post, the extremely cold temperatures have caused some issues at certain intersections controlled by traffic lights. The police department cautions drivers to be aware of the affected intersections and say that signs have been placed at them temporarily.

Some intersections are being controlled with flashing red lights temporarily as well.
