PEOSTA, Iowa (KWWL) – If you haven’t got your dog licensed for 2019, the city of Peosta is telling residents they’re out of time.
According to a post on the city’s Facebook page, dog licenses were due January 1.
Peosta Code Section 4-1-2 requires all dogs within the city limits to be licensed annually.
However if residents have not yet renewed their license, they are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
The annual cost for a dog in Peosta is $10 for a dog that has been spayed or neutered and $25 for a dog that has not.
Licenses can be renewed or purchased by dropping a payment in the utility drop box, by mail or by stopping at City Hall. Payments are also accepted online.
