BB pistol confiscated at Dubuque school

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL): A BB pistol has been confiscated at Jefferson Middle School in Dubuque.

Principal Kelly Molony says it was found in a student’s locker at school today. She says it was never displayed in a threatening manner.

She says disciplinary action will be taken as an investigation continues.

Molony says this is a good reminder that schools and law enforcement don’t take the presence of weapons, or lookalikes, lightly.
