Cedar Rapids Fire Department visited by recovering Clinton firefighter

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) – A firefighter on the mend after being hurt in a fire and explosion in January paid a special visit to the Cedar Rapids Fire Department on Monday.

Adam Cain has undergone nearly a month of treatment at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after fighting a fire in Clinton on January 5. Fellow Clinton firefighter Adam Hosette died in the fire, and tributes for both men have honorably poured in from around the state and country in the month since the tragedy.
