Free health screenings at Cedar Rapids Public Library

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) – The Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP) is holding free health screenings for people ages six months to adult.

The screenings will be on Saturday, Jan. 19 form 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids public Library downtown location: 450 Fifth Ave. SE.

The goal is to promote the health of people in the community.

If you’re bringing a child in, depending on their age, available screenings include: developmental, hearing, vision and dental.

If you’re an adult, available screenings include: A1C-Diabetes, depression and blood pressure.

There will also be kids activities, prizes and giveaways.
