3 hurt in Linn County crash

LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) – Sheriff’s deputies in Linn County say three people were hurt in an accident in the intersection of County Home Road and Lucore Road on Monday around 6:55 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies say vehicles driven by 33-year-old Lindsey Sidman of Marion and 35-year-old Melissa Roob collided after deputies say Sidman apparently failed to stop at a stop sing along the intersection. Both of the women along with a 13-year-old passenger were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to authorities.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office also says a second accident without any injuries involving two vehicles also occurred along County Home Road, with an 18-year-old from Anamosa cited following that collision.
