UPDATE: Fourth person arrested in connection to Waterloo home invasion, led police on a chase

UPDATE: Waterloo Police confirm that Joshua Truax, 36, has been arrested in connection to the burglary incident.

Truax, is charged with felon in possession of a firearm, assault, first-degree burglary, and intimidation with a weapon. He allegedly brandished a stolen rifle when he and three others forced their way into a home Monday night.

He is also charged with eluding, from a high-speed chase Wednesday night.

 

UPDATE: Waterloo Police have arrested Cassandra Wright, 36, in connection with the incident.

Wright is charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Intimidation with a Weapon, Assault while participating in a felony.

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL)–Waterloo Police have arrested two men for burglary and weapon violations.  This happened in the 500 block of Western Avenue.

Police say, four people broke into a home Monday evening, around 6 p.m. During a search, officers found  James Welton and Larry Clayton hiding in the basement.  Both men were arrested.  Two other suspects fled the scene.

James Welton is being charged theft of a stolen firearm. And Larry Clayton is being charged with Intimidation with a Weapon and first degree burglary.
