Waterloo Police Foundation receives Elks Club gift

Waterloo (KWWL)  It’s still 3 months away, but, the Waterloo Police Foundation is gearing up for its annual Cops & Kids Christmas shopping spree in December.

The WPD Foundation has received a $2,000 donation from the Elks Lodge #290 in Waterloo to help in that effort.

Officer David McFarland is Chair of the Foundation, and says the Waterloo Elks Club has been a long-time supports of the Waterloo Police Department.  This latest gift is is another example of that ongoing support.

The shopping spree will take place in December and the $2,000 will help make sure local kids receive the Christmas the deserve.
