BREMER COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL)– According to Bremer County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, they are assisting Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office in searching for a male and female subject on foot in the area 39th Street SE, south of the bike trail near Waverly.
Several officers are in the area looking for the suspects. Iowa State Patrol is also flying several drones and an airplane in the area.
Authorities are asking anyone with personal drones to avoid flying in the area.
Anyone in the area is told to lock the doors to their vehicles and homes at this time.

We have learned the suspects authorities are searching for is connected to a burglary.
Investigators are now searching in Southeast Waterloo and also in Bremer County.
Deputies executed a search warrant in Black Hawk County and found stolen items.
UPDATE: 1:30 p.m.
Bremer County Sheriff confirms both suspects have been arrested.
We’re working to learn where the arrests were made, and the names/ages of both suspects.

Authorities say 31 year old Jeffrey Allen Geiger of Voorhies was taken into custody and charged with 3rd degree burglary and 5th degree theft. Geiger is being held on $5,300 bond and the female was not charged.
Additional charges may be filed.
At approximately 10:48 AM a citizen reported seeing a suspicious adult male and female walking south in the 2400 block of Grand Ave. Bremer County Deputies responded and quickly located the female by herself.
She was detained and a subsequent search began for the male suspect. Multiple agencies set up a perimeter spanning from Garden Ave to Hilton Ave. Iowa State Patrol aircraft and Waverly K9 were utilized in the search.
At approximately 12:45 pm a home owner arrived to her residence in the 2400 block of Hilton Ave. Before her entering, law enforcement searched the residence as a precaution and located the male suspect hiding in the basement of the home.
