ISU beats UNI 4-0 in Women’s Soccer

WATERLOO, Iowa – The UNI Women’s Soccer team fell 4-0 to the Cyclones of Iowa State in their final exhibition of the season.

The Panthers got down early when Kenady Adams scored a goal in the 27th minute. The Cyclones would add to the lead with a goal from Claudia Najerain in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Eva Steckelberg scored with an assist by Mira Emma. Emma scored her own goal in the 62nd minute with an assist by Hannah Cade.

The Panthers were outshot 13-3 by the Cyclones, with the Panthers shots coming from Johnnie HillGenevieve Cruz, and Peyton Larason.

The Panthers will be back in action on August 22 when they host the Cougars of Chicago State at 6 p.m. at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex. The game is free to attend and can be viewed on ESPN3.
