(NBC)– The e-cigarette craze and the wave of teen vaping has federal health officials calling it an “epidemic”. For the first time, industry giant Juul Labs has opened its doors and invited cameras into one of its factories in Wisconsin.
The company runs a production line day and night, filling some 60 million pods. However, they have removed some of its flavors from stores after facing backlash from the public.
Juul is just one of the companies trying to ease parents’ concerns while continuing to strive for growth in a new industry.
