August 17: KBBG FM and other organizations celebrate 2nd annual Northend Weekend

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL)– North End Festival and the Marching Against the Darkness Drill Team are teaming up with KBBG FM 88one to celebrate Northern Waterloo during the Northend Weekend August 17.

The 2nd annual event begins with the traditional KBBG Parade at 10 a.m. It’ll start at the corner of East 4th Street and Donald Street, moving down East 4th Street to Sumner Street.  Then it will travel up Sumner to Beech Street, take a right on Beech Street, a left on Oneida Street, and will end at Ferguson Field.

Next, a Drill Team Exhibition will take place at the Northend Festival at Ferguson Park.

And at the conclusion of the event, the Marching Against Darkness Drill Team competition will take place at East High School.
